Dr. Caitlyn A. Hall

Dr. Caitlyn A. Hall is an environmental engineer and climate resilience practitioner working at the intersection of water, climate, food systems, and regional sustainability. Her work asks how science and policy can better support communities and institutions facing environmental change, especially in dryland and transboundary regions where ecological, cultural, and socioeconomic systems are deeply connected. Much of her current work is centered in the U.S.-Mexico borderlands, Baja California, and the Gulf of California region. Through Next Generation Sonoran Desert Researchers (N-Gen) and related agave, food systems, water, and disaster science collaborations, she works with researchers, communities, institutions, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to strengthen pathways for innovation, resilience, and sustainable regional development.
