Postdoctoral researcher at Institut Jean Lamour, IJL (Université de Lorraine/CNRS). He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del Atlántico (Colombia), and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Ceará (Brazil). His research focuses on gas separations, particularly CO2 capture in post-combustion scenarios. He specializes in porous material characterization, adsorption thermodynamics, breakthrough experiments, and process simulation. During his postdoctoral work at IJL, he expanded into materials science, contributing to projects on heteroatom-doped carbons for CO2 capture and biogas upgrading, hydrogen storage, and strategies to minimize and compress hydrogen boil-off.
